Dr. Kella,

You removed my prostate on Monday, September 19th. I was your first patient that morning. Last Tuesday, the 27th George removed my cathiter and you came in and delivered the great news that you got all the cancer to my wife and I. The next day, yesterday, I only needed one pad and actually got a semi erection. Last night I had no problems with continence although I did have to get up four times. This morning, ten days after surgery, my wife and I had intercourse albeit it was only for ten minutes or so. We were thrilled and couldn't believe it. So far today continence is almost normal. I know that I must continue to work at the therapies to maximize my results but so far we are excited by my progress.

I spent a month researching course of action and learned that you really only get one good shot at this and most importantly, if you choose surgery, your best shot is determined by who does the surgery. I know I made the right decisions. Thanks so much for applying your talent, skill and time to not only saving my life but saving my quality of life.
All the best to you and yours,

I just wanted to wish you Happy Birthday.  Carl "Dutch" Hintze  was there visiting you today and reminded me of your birthday.

Well, I am a few years out.  PSA still zero and all equipment is functional.  Life is great.   I rave about you, the robot and the care I received to treat my prostate cancer.  Excellent care from the moment I walked into your exam room until the final post op months after surgery.  Thank you for taking such fine care of me.  You are a true professional.  Dr "BB"

Dr Kella

Just to give you a update of my Robotic Surgery you performed four years ago. My PSA is still less than .01 taken every 90 days. The last two years I have been taking testosterone (patches the first 6-months and then injection every two weeks until present) and feel the greatest I have felt in twenty years. I am on my 74th week of doing 1500 pushups, 1500 curls and 1500 French curls using 18lbs dumbbells.weekly.

Again THANKS FOR GIFTED SKILLS and being such a gracious person.

Best Regards, PB, Lavaca, Arkansas.

“Dear Dr. Kella, I’m writing to say “thank you” for your excellence and care for my surgery [a few weeks ago]. I am grateful for you, your team, and for your office. From now on, rarely will there be a day that I will not stop and pray for you as you operate and see patients. I look forward to my three month follow-up visit. May God bless you in every way.”
